Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Accept and treat patients within a designated geographic area
• Provide 1:1 treatment and evaluate patients to develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver care aligned with professional standards and physician orders
• Educate family members, home health aides, and caregivers on therapy techniques
• Plan and carry out programs to improve physical function and relieve pain
• Perform and document initial exams and diagnoses
• Provide timely and accurate documentation for each visit
• Evaluate treatment effects and adjust plans to achieve maximum benefit

Requirements

• Occupational Therapist Program Graduate
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New York or eligible
• Ability to travel to patients' homes within the assigned territory
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and staff
• Willingness to treat geriatric patients

Preferred Qualifications

• Home health experience
