Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct and interpret referrals, completing comprehensive evaluations to identify physiological, cognitive, psychological, and functional needs.
• Develop, deliver, and adjust individualized treatment plans using standardized and dynamic assessments.
• Monitor progress, modify interventions, and recommend appropriate assistive technology or adaptive equipment to support functional independence.
• Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers, providing tailored home programs.
• Perform continuous risk assessments and maintain safety and best-practice standards during all therapy sessions.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation, billing, and insurance submissions in line with clinic policies.
• Participate in clinical handovers, interdisciplinary teamwork, and inventory management to support coordinated care.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in occupational therapy.
• Experience working in a large hospital setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in post-acute rehabilitation.
• Specialist skills in areas such as Sensory Integration, Cognitive Rehabilitation, Hand Therapy (including splinting), Seating, Alternate Access, or Neurorehabilitation.
