Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs
• Implement moving and handling techniques to ensure client safety
• Provide minor adaptations and equipment to support daily living activities
• Manage Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs)
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) to deliver comprehensive care

Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of moving and handling techniques, minor adaptations, and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
