Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Carrying out functional assessments and reviews
• Prescribing equipment and minor adaptations
• Supporting independence and wellbeing
• Liaising with multi-disciplinary teams and families
• Contributing to safeguarding and risk assessments
• Preparing reports for care planning and legal processes
• Promoting inclusive, person-centred practice

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years post-grad experience with adults with learning disabilities, neurodiversity, or physical disabilities
• HCPC registered and actively maintaining CPD
• Experience in a local authority setting preferred
• Car driver essential
