Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using clinical observations and standardized tools
• Create personalized treatment plans to enhance functional abilities
• Educate clients and their families on modifying daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and home modifications
• Maintain accurate, timely records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Advocate for clients' needs and support them in accessing community resources, services, and necessary accommodations

Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Valid Arizona state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or license-eligible
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and assist patients as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to home therapy
