Occupational Therapist Inpatient

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and re-evaluations and document findings in accordance with licensure, scope of practice, and department standards.
• Develop, revise, and document individualized goals and treatment plans for patients throughout their episode of care.
• Advocate for and actively participate in the development of disciplinary and interdisciplinary team members.
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in managing the department caseload and providing coverage at various Concord Hospital sites when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient charging as part of daily clinical charting.
• Meet individual performance goals and adhere to all department expectations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Successful completion of the national certification board exam.
• Active and in good standing with a New Hampshire Occupational Therapy license.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification or equivalent.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams, providers, patients, and families (new graduates will be considered).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an inpatient clinical setting.
