Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy interventions within elderly care
• Support elderly individuals with physical and cognitive challenges
• Conduct functional and activity assessments
• Lead training activities
• Adapt and prescribe assistive devices
• Instruct, delegate, and supervise nursing staff
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, nurses, and other occupational therapists
• Report on individual activity capacity during care planning meetings

Requirements

• Licensed occupational therapist (Legitimerad arbetsterapeut)
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Must provide an unblemished criminal record extract

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in elderly care
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• High level of engagement and service orientation
