About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ functional abilities, cognitive status, and daily living needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence, safety, and participation in meaningful activities
- Provide therapeutic interventions such as ADL training, fine motor rehabilitation, cognitive retraining, and adaptive equipment recommendations
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs, safety strategies, and long‑term functional support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, PTs, SLPs, and social workers
- Document assessments, progress notes, and care plans in accordance with Indiana State regulations
- Maintain professional development and stay current with best practices in occupational therapy
Requirements
- Valid OT license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Indiana
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in English
- Willingness to relocate and integrate into the U.S. healthcare environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and treatment‑planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassionate, patient‑centered approach to care
