Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centred clinical care based on the best available evidence
• Work closely alongside interdisciplinary teams within acute hospital wards
• Perform comprehensive assessments, management, and discharge planning for patients
• Collaborate effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary team
• Manage a diverse caseload including surgical, medical, orthopaedic, and neurological presentations

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting
• Proficiency in clinical assessment and discharge planning
• Availability for both short and longer periods of leave coverage during the working week
