Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients to assist with identifying functional goals and interventions
• Support staff in addressing the evolving needs of clients and providing daily interventions
• Offer training, input, and guidance to the team to promote client independence
• Observe and evaluate clients to identify conditions and needs, collaborating with the team to determine effective actions
• Serve as a resource to educate clients, families, and other supports about the client’s condition and needs
• Facilitate communication within the team and with external supports, including medical and psychiatric services
• Participate in assessments and treatment plan development

Requirements

• Current OTR/L license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Experience working with adults with mental illness
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
