Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients to assist with identifying functional goals and interventions
• Support staff in addressing the evolving needs of clients and providing daily interventions
• Offer training, input and guidance to the Team that promotes client independence
• Observe and evaluate clients to identify conditions and needs, collaborating with the team to determine effective actions
• Serve as a resource to educate clients, their families, and other supports about the client’s condition and needs
• Facilitate communication within the team and with external supports, including medical services, psychiatric services, and care coordination entities
• Participate in assessments and treatment plan development

Requirements

• Current OTR/L license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Experience working with adults with mental illness
• Valid Massachusetts drivers license

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
