Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Observe and evaluate clients to assist with identifying functional goals and interventions
• Support staff in addressing the evolving needs of clients and providing daily interventions
• Offer training, input, and guidance to the team to promote client independence
• Collaborate with the team to determine effective actions based on client conditions and needs
• Serve as a resource to educate clients, families, and supports about conditions and needs
• Facilitate communication within the team and with external supports including medical and psychiatric services
• Participate in assessments and treatment plan development

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Experience working with adults with mental illness
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license
• Current OTR/L license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
