Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough pediatric and adolescent assessments to determine patient needs
• Implement appropriate treatment plans using evidence-based practice
• Communicate treatment plans effectively with patients and caregivers, involving them in goal setting and intervention processes
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Determine appropriate discharge timelines based on patient outcomes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the organization and the community to ensure coordinated care
• Participate actively in team meetings and complete all mandatory assignments
• Uphold Dayton Children’s values and culture in all daily interactions

Requirements

• Competency in pediatric assessment and intervention strategies
• Competency in adolescent intervention strategies
• Proven ability to implement evidence-based practice
• Strong collaborative and communication skills for working with families and multidisciplinary teams
