About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy to patients in their homes to restore physical ability
- Follow the plan of care and instruct patients in evidence-based treatment
- Observe, record, and report patient responses and changes in condition to supervisors
- Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in therapy areas within scope of practice
- Adhere to all state-specific laws governing occupational therapy in home care
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of practice
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
