Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Deliver all aspects of occupational therapy services under a physician-approved plan of care
• Ensure the plan of care addresses all identified problems or provides rationale for omissions
• Maintain accountability for the safety and effectiveness of the therapy service delivery process
• Complete all clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner
• Supervise home health aides when a Registered Nurse is not active in the case

Requirements

• Current state license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program
• NBCOT eligible or has successfully completed the entry-level certification examination
• Current CPR certification
• One year of related occupational therapy experience preferred (candidates with less than one year may require regional clinical leader approval and a mentoring/residency program)
