About the Company

Altum Health is a department within the University Health Network with over 300 employees across several sites. We offer a full continuum of prevention, rehabilitation, and health care services to third party payors and individuals, including the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), employers, and insurers.

Responsibilities

• Empower and support clients through recovery using hands-on knowledge and skills
• Treat concussions, traumatic brain injuries, MSK injuries, chronic pain, and mental health challenges
• Facilitate return to work for injured workers
• Collaborate with clients and treatment teams to reach functional and work reintegration potential
• Perform cross-functional and cross-site duties as assigned

Requirements

• University Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Certificate of Registration with the respective College
• Two years of related experience in treating work-related injuries, MVA, or third-party healthcare systems
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
• Strong written, oral, and nonverbal communication skills
• Ability to provide group education and lead small group learning

Preferred Qualifications

• Concussion/TBI and mental health experience
• FAE and Return to work planning skills
• WorkWell certification
