Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Empower and support clients through recovery using hands-on knowledge and skills
• Treat orthopedic disorders, chronic pain, and rehabilitation for injured workers
• Enable clients to reach functional and work reintegration potential
• Collaborate with clients, treatment teams, and other stakeholders
• Perform cross-functional and cross-site duties as assigned
• Provide group education sessions and lead small group learning

Requirements

• Registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Minimum of two years related experience preferred
• Experience with work-related injuries or third-party healthcare systems preferred
• Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to adhere to confidentiality and insurance reporting requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hand therapy or upper extremity assessment
• Strong FAE and Return to Work planning skills
• WorkWell certification
• Experience with report writing and case management
