About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities
- Create and modify treatment programs to meet specific patient needs
- Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment
- Document patient progress and outcomes using electronic medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers
- Assess workplace ergonomics and recommend modifications
Requirements
- Graduate degree from an accredited occupational or physical therapy program
- Current state license to practice as an occupational or physical therapist in the US
- Current CPR certification
