About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop personalized treatment plans
- Deliver direct patient care using evidence-based interventions and protocols
- Document assessment findings, treatment progress, and patient instructions accurately
- Develop written plans of care and establish measurable goals
- Implement individualized treatment programs including therapeutic activities and adaptive equipment
- Maintain effective communication with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure timely completion of documentation, progress notes, and discharge plans
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited college with an AOTA curriculum
- Current Georgia state OT license
- CPR certification
- Skills in exercise, sports rehab, and manual therapy
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for orthopedics
- Experience in acute care settings
