About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and inspect activities to ensure conditions that eliminate or minimize work accident risks
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company procedures
  • Provide technical reports regarding existing environmental risks and mitigation measures
  • Inform workers about activity risks and neutralization measures
  • Analyze work methods and processes to identify risk factors for accidents and occupational diseases
  • Execute safety and hygiene procedures and evaluate results
  • Implement accident and occupational disease prevention programs
  • Promote safety debates, meetings, campaigns, and training sessions
  • Create and submit documentation, statistical data, and performance analysis to managers

Requirements

  • Experience with transmission lines and electrical substations
  • Knowledge of PPRA and PCMSO
  • Experience in creating and maintaining Emergency Plans
