Occupational Safety Technician III

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Regulatory Norms (NRs) and occupational safety legislation
• Identify, evaluate, and control occupational risks in activities and environments
• Develop and manage safety programs and documentation (PGR/PPRA, PCMSO, PPP, PCA, PPR, etc.)
• Conduct training, field inspections, and awareness actions for employees
• Manage accidents and incidents, including analysis, CAT reporting, and action plans
• Monitor and present HSE performance indicators and support audits
• Promote a safety culture and provide technical support to operations and client requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Safety Engineering, Technology, or a related field
• NR10 basic certification (40h)
• NR-33 Confined Space Supervisor certification (40h)
• Valid Driver's License (Category A)
• Availability to travel
• Knowledge of Regulatory Norms (NRs) and labor legislation
• Proficiency in using environmental measurement equipment (dosimeters and thermal stress meters)
• Knowledge of quality tools (Cause-Effect, 5W, diagrams) and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the Pulp & Paper industry
