Occupational Safety Technician

Responsibilities

• Support regional Occupational Safety routines by promoting process standardization and alignment between plants.
• Monitor priority safety topics across plants, ensuring visibility of risks, status, and support needs.
• Consolidate regional data and information to support analysis, action plans, and decision-making.
• Promote integration between plants, subject matter experts (SMEs), and leadership to share best practices.
• Support the implementation of strategic initiatives, safety programs, and industrial safety requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to increase efficiency and execution discipline.
• Manage safety governance through indicators, dashboards, reports, and executive communication materials.
• Provide technical support to plants regarding the interpretation of guidelines and prioritization of actions.

Requirements

• Degree/Certification as a Técnico de Segurança do Trabalho.
• Experience in Occupational Safety within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety processes, routines, and requirements.
• Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and connect operational needs with regional directives.
• Proficiency in supporting technical discussions and tracking action plans.
• Availability for regional travel and interaction with different operational sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in process standardization and governance across multiple plants.
• Proficiency in Power BI, dashboards, or other analytics tools applied to safety management.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement and governance management tools.
