About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute and participate in projects aimed at improving occupational safety
- Develop and implement site-wide safety standards, processes, and management system compliance
- Support employees and managers on all occupational safety and health topics
- Implement legal and regulatory requirements regarding safety at the Friedrichshafen site
- Provide safety-technical support to specialized departments regarding health and safety protection
- Conduct risk assessments, investigate incidents, and perform safety inspections
- Create statistics, reports, and operating instructions
- Collaborate with the Works Council and the company medical service
Requirements
- Degree in Safety Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable technical field
- Completed training/certification as an Occupational Safety Specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit)
- In-depth knowledge of ergonomics, machine safety, and hazardous substances
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 management systems, radiation protection, and laser protection
- Proficiency in IT tools including Power BI, Power App, AI tools, and Quentic
- Strong social competence, flexibility, and resilience
- Proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken)
