About the role
Responsibilities
- Implementation and management of EHS projects, such as EHS software solutions or technical monitoring measures
- Conducting regular safety inspections using ASiG and GEMBA principles
- Preparation and follow-up of internal and external audits according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Analysis of workplace accidents and derivation of sustainable prevention measures
- Management of risk reports and follow-up on hazard assessments and regulatory requirements
- Organization and moderation of the occupational safety committee
- Planning and execution of crisis management exercises and emergency support
- Conducting safety training and instructions
- Maintaining and updating relevant registers, such as hazardous substance lists
Requirements
- Technical training as a technician or master in safety technology/occupational safety, or a degree in mechanical, process, or chemical engineering
- At least 3 years of professional experience in occupational safety
- Completed training as a specialist for occupational safety (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit)
- Sound knowledge of occupational safety management, ideally DIN EN ISO 45001
- Experience in project management and conducting audits
- Very good German and English skills
