Occupational Safety Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform the legally mandated duties of an Occupational Safety Specialist and manage relevant safety topics.
• Advise management in development, production, and administration regarding occupational safety, risk assessments, and the creation of operating instructions.
• Implement current legal requirements and collaborate with other Diehl Defence locations.
• Lead the preparation of the Überlingen site for successful ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management certification.
• Support the further development of the EHS system and manage projects related to occupational safety, hazardous substances, and environmental protection.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an Occupational Safety Specialist with additional qualifications in hazardous substances and environmental protection (or willingness to acquire these).
• Relevant professional experience in a comparable position, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial company.
• Proven experience in the implementation and documentation of ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management systems.
• Strong communication skills across all stakeholder groups and an interdisciplinary, solution-oriented approach.
• Fluent German (business level) and conversational English skills.
