Occupational Safety Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure the company meets occupational health and safety requirements
• Control potential and real losses in processes, products, and services by analyzing causes and establishing preventive/corrective actions
• Manage occupational safety and environmental activities, including equipment and training coordination
• Develop and execute safety programs, studies, and methods to prevent accidents and occupational diseases
• Supervise the execution of works regarding health and safety
• Evaluate building conditions and work environments
• Execute educational campaigns and lectures for accident prevention
• Issue technical reports, risk maps, and contracts
• Promote the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Provide technical guidance on Regulatory Standards (NRs) and Sanitary Codes

Requirements

• Occupational Safety Engineer degree
• Previous experience in the role
