Occupational Safety and Care Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of care coordination for injured workers, including medical appointments and treatment navigation
• Establish and maintain a panel of physicians and occupational health providers
• Administer the claims and care process for onsite injuries
• Lead incident investigations and compile required documentation
• Track incident data and claim trends to identify risk factors
• Maintain professional communication with leadership regarding claim status
• Deliver wellness content, including toolbox talks and onboarding materials
• Facilitate Mental Health First Aid training and support mental health initiatives
• Provide onsite support through presentations and employee engagement

Requirements

• 2–4 years of construction safety experience including onsite claims handling
• Familiarity with OSHA 29 CFR 1904 Subpart C
• Excellent people skills for engaging diverse audiences
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management technologies
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to project sites within a three-hour radius

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree
