Occupational Safety and Care Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of care coordination for injured workers, including accompanying them to medical appointments and navigating treatment
• Establish and maintain a panel of physicians and build relationships with occupational health providers
• Administer the claims and care process for onsite injuries and coordinate claims management
• Lead incident investigations and compile required documentation and reports
• Track incident data and claim trends to identify patterns and drive proactive improvements
• Deliver wellness content, including toolbox talks, onboarding materials, and campaigns
• Facilitate Mental Health First Aid training and support mental health awareness initiatives
• Provide onsite support through presentations and direct employee engagement

Requirements

• 2–4 years of construction safety experience, including onsite claims handling
• Familiarity with OSHA 29 CFR 1904 Subpart C
• Excellent people skills to engage diverse audiences
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management technologies
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to project sites within a three-hour radius

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree
