Occupational Safety and Care Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of care coordination for injured workers, including accompanying them to medical appointments and navigating treatment options
• Establish and maintain a panel of physicians and build relationships with partner clinics and occupational health providers
• Administer the claims and care process for onsite injuries, coordinating internal and external management processes
• Lead thorough incident investigations alongside the project safety team and own report submittals
• Track incident data and claim trends to identify patterns and drive proactive improvements
• Maintain professional communication with local, regional, and company leadership regarding claim status
• Act as an on-the-ground resource for risk management policies and safety best practices

Requirements

• 2–4 years of construction safety experience including onsite claims handling
• Familiarity with OSHA 29 CFR 1904 Subpart C
• Excellent people skills to engage diverse audiences
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management technologies
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to project sites within a three-hour radius

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree
