Occupational Physician Senior Professional

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement occupational health programs to control or eliminate personal and environmental risk factors.
• Determine employee fitness for work under acute or chronic medical conditions.
• Identify, evaluate, and analyze workplace risks to implement reduction or control actions.
• Establish guidelines for medical treatment and emergency care management.
• Determine environmental monitoring methods and required medical/laboratory examinations in accordance with national standards.
• Elaborate and review safety manuals to prevent occupational injuries and diseases.
• Maintain proactive relationships with official institutions such as STPS and IMSS.
• Ensure compliance with Integrated Management Systems (SGI) regarding safety, health, environment, and quality.

Requirements

• Medical Surgeon degree with a Specialty in Occupational Medicine.
• Minimum of 5 years of medical experience (experience in the chemical industry is preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Mexican Official Standards (NOM) applicable to health.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 Management Systems.
• Proficiency in English at a B1 level.
• Knowledge of the Federal Labor Law regarding occupational risks and federal safety/health regulations.
• Knowledge of handling Biological-Infectious Hazardous Waste (RPBI).

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.
