Occupational Health Specialist

Responsibilities

• Deliver an effective Occupational Health Service across agreed sites to improve health performance and organizational effectiveness
• Lead company health promotion activities and maintain confidential employee medical files
• Provide clinical advice and support regarding sickness absence management, return to work plans, and Equality Act guidance
• Conduct pre-employment and in-employment health screenings
• Educate key personnel on workplace health risk assessments
• Develop and implement Occupational Health policies, standards, and procedures in line with best practices

Requirements

• Registered General Nurse with a degree in Occupational Health Nursing or NMC specialist practitioner status
• Post-registration experience within an Occupational Health environment
• Strong knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation and clinical health issues
• Ability to think strategically regarding how Occupational Health adds value to the business
• Strong project management skills and IT literacy
• Full UK driving licence
