Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the development, implementation, and management of safety programs
• Provide expert advice and consultation to stakeholders for implementing hazard controls and safety training
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and company standards
• Perform Industrial Hygiene (IH) Monitoring
• Conduct incident and injury investigations, risk assessments, audits, walkthroughs, and inspections
• Act as a brand ambassador for SGS values and expertise

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the Occupational Health & Safety field
• Experience in the Occupational Health & Safety industry
• Experience in high technology industry or R&D
• Proven track record in safety program creation and implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
• Consulting experience
• Experience in laser and drone safety
