Occupational Health Physician

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational health evaluations, surveillance reviews, and medical suitability assessments
• Review employee health records and provide clinical recommendations and written determinations
• Support occupational health surveillance programs and employee health risk assessments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary stakeholders regarding workforce health and regulatory compliance
• Support development of occupational health examination protocols and medical suitability guidelines
• Maintain medical documentation in accordance with privacy standards and healthcare regulations

Requirements

• Current unrestricted physician license in New York
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
• Board Certification in Occupational Medicine or Occupational Health
• Experience performing occupational health evaluations or medical reviews
• Ability to provide independent clinical judgment and written medical suitability determinations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting regulated occupational health or employee wellness programs
• Experience with medical surveillance or workplace health assessments
• Previous experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare environments
