Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational health evaluations, pre-employment physicals, and return-to-work assessments
• Provide vaccines, specimen collection, and drug testing in accordance with medical protocols
• Deliver walk-in consultations, minor care, first aid, and post-exposure response support
• Support employee wellness initiatives including health education and preventive programming
• Maintain health records and medical surveillance tracking in compliance with privacy laws
• Support clinic supply coordination and daily healthcare workflow operations

Requirements

• Current unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New York
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with current AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA certification
• Experience in occupational health services, medical surveillance, and vaccinations
• Experience with specimen collection and health record documentation in regulated environments
• Ability to work on-site in a clinic environment Monday through Friday

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in occupational health, employee health, or government healthcare environments
• Experience supporting wellness education or workplace health programs
• Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
