Occupational Health Nurse

Responsibilities

• Support occupational health services including medical surveillance, respiratory clearances, medical exams, vaccines, and drug-testing
• Coordinate employee health scheduling and track program requirement completion
• Maintain health records in accordance with privacy laws and medical protocols
• Support vaccine management, medical supply inventory, and clinic resource coordination
• Assist with employee wellness initiatives, health education, and illness-prevention efforts
• Support walk-in consultations, minor care, referral coordination, and return-to-work processes
• Collaborate with occupational health providers and clinical leadership

Requirements

• Current unrestricted NY Nursing license
• Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) credential
• Ability to maintain health records per privacy regulations
• Ability to support occupational health workflows and compliance activities
• Ability to complete background screening and site access requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in occupational health, employee health, or medical surveillance
• Experience in government-regulated healthcare environments
• Experience supporting vaccine programs or wellness initiatives
• Familiarity with OSHA and workplace safety standards
