Occupational Health Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance regarding occupational health within the scope of practice
• Deliver clinical services including first aid, medical procedures, counseling, assessment, and follow-up care
• Administer immunizations, inoculations, and medications in accordance with standing orders
• Assist in developing and maintaining confidential patient records
• Monitor and report patient behavioral abnormalities to the Project Manager
• Perform clerical duties including answering phones, typing, filing, and managing secured email mailboxes
• Maintain inventories of furniture and equipment for the health unit

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited university
• Certified by the American Board of Occupational Health Nurses (ABOHN)
• Board Certified in the assigned work area with appropriate licensing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical procedures, patient care, and occupational or community health programs
• CPR/AED Certification with the ability to administer emergency first-aid treatment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other appropriate computer software systems
