About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct health and safety audits to ensure company and OSHA compliance
- Support production operations through the identification and mitigation of workplace risks
- Manage assigned safety programs including fall protection, powered industrial trucks, and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver safety and health training to site personnel
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, analyses, and presentations for leadership
- Participate in incident investigations, inspections, and corrective action tracking
- Evaluate the impact of emerging regulations and legislation on company operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 1+ year of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Proficiency in hazard recognition, evaluation, and control
- Strong technical report writing and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate on cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 or more years of related work experience
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification
- 3+ years of industrial safety experience
- Experience codifying regulatory requirements into written procedures
- Experience working in aerospace or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) environments
- Experience with aircraft operations
