About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily health and safety support for Boeing space processing activities
  • Oversee sitewide compliance for various occupational safety programs at Kennedy Space Center
  • Prepare compliance and technical reports to meet OSHA, NASA, and Boeing requirements
  • Act as the primary site contact for regulatory agencies
  • Perform program reviews, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions
  • Evaluate workplace hazards and the impact of new regulations on company operations
  • Conduct safety education and training to support regulatory and business requirements
  • Review vendor, contractor, and supplier activities for EHS compliance
  • Assist management in the implementation of EHS programs and supervise corrective action plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience working in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS)
  • 3+ years of experience assessing and evaluating risk

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field such as Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, or Public Health
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • 1+ years of experience managing projects
  • Prior experience working with NASA programs
  • Experience using Enablon
