About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide daily health and safety support for Boeing space processing activities
- Oversee sitewide compliance for various occupational safety programs at Kennedy Space Center
- Prepare compliance and technical reports to meet OSHA, NASA, and Boeing requirements
- Act as the primary site contact for regulatory agencies
- Perform program reviews, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions
- Evaluate workplace hazards and the impact of new regulations on company operations
- Conduct safety education and training to support regulatory and business requirements
- Review vendor, contractor, and supplier activities for EHS compliance
- Assist management in the implementation of EHS programs and supervise corrective action plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience working in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS)
- 3+ years of experience assessing and evaluating risk
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field such as Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, or Public Health
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification
- 5+ years of related work experience
- 1+ years of experience managing projects
- Prior experience working with NASA programs
- Experience using Enablon
