Occupational Health and Safety Expert/Inspector

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor the application of legislative regulations regarding Occupational Health and Safety (SSM) and emergency situations
• Provide consultancy to departments regarding legislative regulations and norms for Occupational Health, Prevention, and Firefighting
• Ensure training and information of personnel on Occupational Health and Firefighting issues
• Investigate, register, declare, and maintain records of work accidents and occupational diseases
• Develop internal occupational safety instructions
• Evaluate workstations from an Occupational Health and Safety perspective
• Collaborate with management to define lists of personal protective equipment and work tools
• Prepare intervention plans for Fire Prevention and Extinguishing
• Draft occupational safety measure programs and documentation for permits, agreements, and authorizations
• Participate in state authority inspections and internal audits

Requirements

• Higher technical studies
• SSM Inspector course (80 hours)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety
• Experience communicating with Territorial Labor Inspectorate (ITM) and Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU)
• English language proficiency (reading and writing)
• Category B driver's license
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
