About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as a change agent to develop an OHS culture and support managers
- Support managers in developing OHS leadership and integrating prevention into operations
- Deploy and monitor programs, procedures, and tools to strengthen prevention and accountability
- Inspect workplaces and maintain a field presence to promote safe behaviors
- Analyze occupational risks and propose adapted prevention measures
- Conduct accident investigations and collaborate with authorities during inspections
- Follow up on training, lead OHS committees, and respond to employee and client inquiries
Requirements
- College diploma or university certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety laws and regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Valid driver's license with availability to travel between sites
