Occupational Health and Safety Advisor

Responsibilities

• Act as a change agent to develop an OHS culture and support managers
• Support managers in developing OHS leadership and integrating prevention into operations
• Deploy and monitor programs, procedures, and tools to strengthen prevention and accountability
• Inspect workplaces and maintain a field presence to promote safe behaviors
• Analyze occupational risks and propose adapted prevention measures
• Conduct accident investigations and collaborate with authorities during inspections
• Follow up on training, lead OHS committees, and respond to employee and client inquiries

Requirements

• College diploma or university certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety laws and regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Valid driver's license with availability to travel between sites
