Occupational Health and Medical Services Specialist

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Occupational Health programs and procedures based on current legislation and corporate standards.
• Provide medical consultations for general illnesses and manage work-related injury cases.
• Manage and follow up on IMSS procedures and long-term disability cases.
• Interpret audiometry and spirometry results for new hires and periodic examinations.
• Perform medical assessments for new hires and periodic check-ups, issuing formal medical opinions and recommendations.
• Conduct job site analyses for problematic cases and perform medical evaluations for special cases.
• Coordinate health campaigns and events with local, state, or federal public health institutions.
• Develop and distribute health bulletins and related informative materials.

Requirements

• Licensed Medical Doctor (Lic. en Medicina Titulado).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in occupational health.
• Proven experience with IMSS procedures and emergency medical care.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Knowledge of industrial safety and ecology official standards (NOMs).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty in Occupational Health.
• Experience implementing health campaigns and conducting emergency drills.
