Obstetrics Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of obstetric ultrasound scans
• Produce high-quality images to support accurate diagnoses and pregnancy monitoring
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Provide detailed reports to referring clinicians
• Adhere to established safety protocols and participate in quality assurance
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of service delivery

Requirements

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
• Postgraduate diploma in Medical Ultrasound
• Current HCPC registration
• Extensive experience in obstetric ultrasound scans
• Proficiency in operating advanced ultrasound equipment
• Strong knowledge of obstetric imaging protocols and safety standards
