Obstetrics & Gynae Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ultrasound examinations, including obstetric and gynaecological scans
• Perform nuchal translucency scans and assess fetal development
• Identify abnormalities and provide timely, accurate diagnostic information
• Work closely with medical and nursing staff
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with professional standards
• Participate in clinical audits and service development initiatives

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Sonographer
• BSc (Hons) in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent
• Significant experience in obstetrics and gynaecology sonography
• Proficiency in performing nuchal translucency scans
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
