Obstetrics and Gynaecology Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound examinations
• Ensure accurate and timely diagnostic reporting
• Work closely with consultants and midwives to support antenatal care pathways
• Identify abnormalities and provide clear communication to patients and clinical teams
• Maintain high standards of clinical practice
• Contribute to service development and quality assurance initiatives

Requirements

• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound
• HCPC or relevant professional registration
• Extensive experience in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound
• Proficiency in early pregnancy, anomaly, and growth scans
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
