Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered, full-scope outpatient OB/GYN care to women across the lifespan
- Perform gynecological surgery in the office and at partner hospital facilities
- Manage agreed number of 24-hr call shifts as part of the laborist service, serving as backup to Certified Nurse Midwives
- Collaborate and consult with other care team members to ensure exceptional patient care
- Ensure strong communication and coordination with clinical and non-clinical team members
- Complete all required documentation accurately, timely, and thoroughly
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement programs
Requirements
- Board certified or eligible in obstetrics/gynecology
- Licensed to practice in Texas
- Active DEA license
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative OB/CNM practice
- Patient-centered approach valuing shared decision making and holistic care
- Ability to be within 30 minutes of the hospital during call shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
