Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive gynecologic care including well-woman exams, cervical cancer screening, and hormonal management
- Manage menstrual disorders, contraception, and menopause care
- Manage gynecologic conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, and PCOS
- Provide obstetrical care including prenatal and postnatal care
- Participate in labour and delivery based on hospital privileges
- Perform office-based procedures including endometrial biopsies and colposcopy
- Collaborate with family physicians, midwives, and other specialists
- Provide patient education and counseling on reproductive health
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
Requirements
- Medical degree with licensure in Ontario or eligibility through CPSO
- Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada)
- Ability to obtain hospital privileges
- Strong clinical, procedural, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in both gynecology and obstetrics
