Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB/GYN)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gynecologic care including well-woman exams, cervical cancer screening, and hormonal management
• Manage menstrual disorders, contraception, and menopause care
• Manage gynecologic conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, and PCOS
• Provide obstetrical care including prenatal and postnatal care
• Participate in labour and delivery based on hospital privileges
• Perform office-based procedures including endometrial biopsies and colposcopy
• Collaborate with family physicians, midwives, and other specialists
• Provide patient education and counseling on reproductive health
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems

Requirements

• Medical degree with licensure in Ontario or eligibility through CPSO
• Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada)
• Ability to obtain hospital privileges
• Strong clinical, procedural, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in both gynecology and obstetrics
