Obstetrician & Gynecologist

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed consultations and manage both routine and high-risk pregnancies
• Perform gynecological procedures including Cesarean sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopies, D&C, and colposcopy
• Provide comprehensive antenatal and postnatal care focusing on maternal and fetal well-being
• Collaborate with midwives, neonatologists, and anesthesiologists to provide integrated patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure strict compliance with clinical protocols
• Participate in departmental audits, CME activities, and quality improvement initiatives
• Communicate effectively with Arabic-speaking patients and families to ensure clarity and comfort

Requirements

• Fluent in Arabic (both spoken and written)
• Specialist qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology (e.g., Arab Board, MRCOG, or equivalent)
• Valid DOH (HAAD) license or eligibility to obtain one
• Minimum of 5 years of post-specialization experience in a hospital or women’s health clinic
• Strong surgical and diagnostic skills across obstetric and gynecologic domains
• Excellent interpersonal and culturally sensitive communication abilities
