About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of obstetric ultrasound scans to the highest clinical standards
- Produce accurate, detailed imaging reports in line with professional and departmental protocols
- Ensure the highest level of patient care, dignity, and confidentiality at all times
- Liaise effectively with consultants, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to support patient pathways
- Maintain compliance with all governance, safeguarding, and professional standards
Requirements
- HCPC registration
- Minimum 6 months NHS experience as a Sonographer
- Specialist experience in Obstetric ultrasound scanning
- Band 7 level or equivalent
- CASE Accreditation
- DQASS Registration
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently within a busy environment
