Obstetric Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of obstetric ultrasound scans, including routine and complex examinations
• Provide detailed reports to support clinical decision-making
• Work closely with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety
• Adhere to protocols and participate in service development initiatives

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Radiographer/Sonographer
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (Obstetrics)
• Extensive experience in obstetric ultrasound
• Strong knowledge of obstetric imaging techniques and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
