Obs, Gynae and General Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Independently perform Obs, General & Gynae ultrasound examinations
• Ensure high standards of clinical practice and patient safety
• Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
• Contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Adhere to departmental protocols and national guidelines

Requirements

• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Society of Radiographers (SoR)
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent
• Extensive experience in General & Gynae sonography
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient-centred care

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Obstetrics is desirable
